Bill Norton is a true “Citizen Scholar.” In 1989, Bill dropped out of High School at sixteen years old, moved to Phoenix, Arizona to start a custom concrete company, The Sharper Edge, with his brother Alan. The Sharper Edge is still running strong. Thanks to the “great recession” it is one of the last custom concrete companies left in the Phoenix area.
Bill received his G.E.D. and graduated from a vocational school in design and production art in 1990 at the age of eighteen.
At twenty-one Bill was given a copy of the book The Making of America. From that time in 1994 until the present, Bill has engaged in rigorous self-study on American history, the Founding Fathers, and our Founding Documents, primarily the United States Constitution. Self-study has allowed Bill to escape the “establishments” flavor of political principles. Instead, he has deeply immersed himself as a free thinker in natural law principles. That is to say, principles that agree with the natural course of things rather than hoping for ideals that simply do not exist. Bill has become a “Citizen Scholar.”
Talents in business and marketing, graphic design, construction, community activism, public speaking, teaching, writing, edutainment, and a keen understanding of the Constitution, the Founding Fathers, and Natural Law principles, have given Bill many opportunities to serve our country.
Bill Norton served as a creative and historical consultant and author of the book The Miracle of America, Birth of a Nation. He took a lead role in developing the book into The Miracle of America concert and has performed throughout the nation as the narrator for the concert.
Having been discovered by his good friend, Mark Meckler, Bill is currently the National Support Team Constitutional Coordinator for Tea Party Patriots.org. He is responsible for developing educational material related to the Constitution for the organization.
Bill has also been volunteering with the National Center for Constitutional Studies, or NCCS, for 10 years updating educational material related to the Constitution. He has been a presenter for the organization for 3 years.
He has presented The Making of America seminar over 100 times in more than 40 states, including two state legislatures. He has spoken at dozens of Tea Party rallies, and on the Tea Party movement at numerous venues, including Harvard Law School and other likely and unlikely platforms.
He is the chairman of the Arizona State Constitutional Commemoration Committee and the founder of Constitution Week USA, the largest celebration on the Constitution in the nation.
He is a recipient of the George Washington Honor Medal from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.
Bill continues to own and operate a contracting company in Arizona and currently resides in Gilbert, Arizona.
